Individual essences and extracts are obtained from fruit, vegetables, and other vegetarian sources using a variety of techniques to separate the flavors we want from the sugar, color, pulp, and other unwanted components. Techniques involve various combinations of pressing, heating, cooling, filtering, and dissolving.
The essences and extracts are combined according to our unique recipes. The mixture of flavors is blended with pure water at local bottlers around the United States. The resulting water is then pasteurized or infused with CO2 for Hint Sparkling.
